A Polar Bear’s Problems
All they wanted to do was live in the snow.
But instead, now they feel like they have to go.
The Polar bear, who once was feared in the Arctic,
Must now have fear for it’s own life.
Moving slowly, heavily and deadly,
Weighing up to 1,300 pounds.
One might say, this animal is similar to a tank.
In which case, this saying would be no prank.
The frozen habitats of its survival,
Being melted away by the humans’ behavior.
In their habitats these animals are being trapped,
Trapped like a bird to a snare.
These polar bears scream for help,
While global warming continues to tear down their homes.
The fact that we watch them die is sickening,
We treat them just like some garden gnomes.
The polar bears used to pace around playfully,
Before high temperatures came around and plagued their places.
Polar bears, who roam the seas for seals to eat,
When gone could leave a lot more seals for us to see.
These animals have to leave their homes.
Soon they will be grouped together in areas,
Like bees to honeycombs.
Polar bear cubs, who live with their moms for a year and a half,
Will grow up knowing no easy life.
These poor animals are having to move.
Some organizations, however, do not approve.
