A girl named Laila Esquivel was welcomed into the world 13 years ago on July 22, 2009. She was born here in Houston Texas. Her family is something that she cares about the most. She has the best parents anyone could ever ask for. Their names are Waleska and Mauricio. She also has siblings that annoy her most of the time but she still loves them a lot. Her two brothers are, Jonathan and Christopher, they sometimes are a pain in the butt but she manages to deal with their craziness. On the other hand, her sister, Camila, makes her really frustrated but sometimes makes her the happiest ever. She also has a dog named Luna and Laila loves her so much. 

Laila has many hobbies that she loves to do. One of the things that she likes to do is dance. Laila´s mom had signed her up for this dance company at the age of three. She would always show up to practice and her teachers were so nice. She even made lots of friends while she was there. The dance company would perform at North Shore Senior High School. Laila would always be so excited and nervous at the same time when it was her turn to get on stage. Sadly, she decided to quit dancing and move on. Laila also plays volleyball. She loves to play even if she still needs to practice. Sometimes she practices with her sister since her sister is super good at volleyball. 

Laila has accomplished many things throughout her life but the best accomplishment that she has ever done will for sure be when she made the A team for volleyball. This is very important to her because she has been practicing for this her whole life and for her to actually make the team tells her that all the training has paid off. Another accomplishment is having all advanced classes and being in Encounters. She is very proud of herself for this. 

In the future, Laila´s goal is to go to college with some of her best friends and have fun while being there. She also wants to graduate with very good grades and have a job that pays good money. Once Laila gets older she hopes to travel the world and visit many different places. She hopes to be the best she can be and plans to live life to the fullest.
