Reflection
Something I accomplished this year was playing basketball. I joined a basketball team, GPA (Galena Park Athletes). I joined basketball because I like it, but I’m not really that good at it. We’ve had 3 tournaments so far. I hope we win many more games. In the first game we won, I felt real proud. It was in a saturday, so everyone in my team came. There is ten other people, not including me. The most challenging part of this year was doing the STAAR test. I already did the Reading STAAR, but I still need to do the math one. I didn’t study for it because I’ve never studied before, but I hope I still get a good grade. They don’t tell me what I got until it’s summer. If I get a 100 on one of them that would be great because I have never gotten one. Something that’s easy now but would have been hard at the beginning of the year is playing my instrument. Playing my instrument would be hard because I hadn’t been in band before. I would have rathered get a saxophone instead of a clarinet, though. I did buy a saxophone at home, too. So that’s good! But all the other things that I couldn’t do this year, I might still be able to make up for them. After all, I’m barely in sixth grade. Only He knows what’s in store for me. t
