Jennifer M.

Biography:

Jennifer Martinez was born on February 16, 2010. She was a tiny baby, as she was born as a preemie baby at 7 months weighing 3 lbs. Jennifer lived a happy normal life in Houston Texas, where she was born. She attended school at Cimarron Elementary and then moved to Woodland Acres Elementary she made enemies and friends along the way. She soon finished 5th,6th, and 7th grade. Then that's when Jennifer started 8th grade she started out pretty well and had good grades and made it on the volleyball A team. Jennifer is the youngest of her family of four. Her mother Brenda Torres was from Mexico but moved to Houston in 1993. She graduated from the University of Houston Clear Lake and is currently a teacher for Galena Park ISD.  Her dad Rudy Martinez born in Houston currently works for the KnM company. Jennifer has one older sister named Joyce and has 2 dogs Edward, Duke, and her pet fish Diamond.

Jennifer gets bored really easily but the other times she is mostly hyper and enjoys doing a lot of stuff. She always takes away her mood from being bored by doing some of her favorite hobbies like shopping, playing video games, calling her friends, and playing volleyball and basketball. Jennifer has a lot of interest in stuff like reading in her free time, playing with her dogs, and watching tv. Jennifer does have talents like singing, acting, and playing sports in athletics.


Jennifer was very proud of her accomplishments throughout her  Elementary years; she was a district winner for prose and poetry several times. This accomplishment helped her improve her acting and public speaking skills along with improving her memorization skills. She was also accepted into the GT program which challenged her in many ways. Along the way she was also chosen for the Honor Society which helped her provide services needed around the community. One of her strongest skills is singing. She is now in the varsity choir thinking about where that would take her in the future.


Jennifer still has a lot of goals she wants to accomplish in life! Some goals include trying to get better in her classes and facing her fears. Among other goals for the future, becoming famous, buying her first car, and being a homeowner one day she sometimes wonders how her future will turn out for her, well the future awaits her.
