About me

Hello all, 

My name is Jose Cardenas and I have the privilege of teaching 6th grade social studies at Galena Park Middle School. My educational background includes graduating from Galena Park High School and achieving my undergraduates degree in development/ childhood psychology from the University of Texas Tech. I am still looking to further my education by returning to a university for my masters degree and doctorates in educational psychology. With my current expertise and additional knowledge gained along with way I look forward to helping my students, whether current or past, achieve their goals/ dreams. 

Some hobbies of mine include spending time with my family and friends, watching sports, reading books, traveling, and listening to music, but most importantly is always learning and experiencing new things. So, whether its a weekend bar-b-que with my family or staying in to relax I always try to find new things to learn about.
