I am from Crosby, TX which is on the northeast side of Houston. I have also lived in the Dallas Fort Worth area after college for about 5 years. I relocated back to Crosby to begin teaching again and haven't stopped doing what I love. I always wanted to give back and being a teacher is a perfect career for this reason and many more.
My undergraduate education began at Jarvis Christian College in Hawkins, TX, where I received my Bachelors of Science in Mathematics. I later received my Masters of Education from Letourneau University in Longview, TX. At Letourneau, I took all of my courses online. This is my 24th year teaching math in the public school system.
Here at CMS I have started to implement more and more technology. I began using a ClearTouch Panel several years ago, Google Classroom has become a big part of my teaching over the past two years, and I also use Quizizzes, Kahoot, Plickers, Quizlet, and NearPod to get my students more involved in the classroom.
