Jade is a girl that was born in Houston, Texas at East Regional Hospital. She was born on November 10, 2010 at approximately 5:11pm. After she was given birth she had to stay two weeks in the hospital for medical reasons. She has an older brother, named Jeshua Puente, who was born a year before her. Jade is currently 13 years old. Throughout her childhood she has had some changes that she managed to go through like changing schools. She is currently going through eighth grade and lives at home with her parents and brother.
Something that she does in her free time is drawing and coloring. She likes drawing landscapes and sometimes instead of coloring she likes to blend colors together. Another thing she likes to do is listen to music because she thinks it relaxes her. Jade mostly listens to pop and relaxing music. Another thing she likes to do is collecting souvenirs and anything elephant related. She has 5 souvenirs and 4 elephant stuffed animals. Jade has known how to knit and crochet for 2 years and a half. She mostly likes to knit and crochet things that she might find interesting on the internet.
Jade has accomplished many things throughout her life. Something that she has always managed to accomplish is pass her STAAR tests. In elementary school she accomplished 6 medals for discipline, 1 plaque from the NJHS, and 96 certificates for many things such as perfect attendance, A honor roll, art, etc… In fifth grade she had the most certificates of her class, joined the National Junior Honor Society, got into Encounters, got a medal for reading the most books in her class, and accomplished many of her goals. In sixth grade she won 3 trophies from the Science Fair in the physics section. In seventh grade she and her team got third place in a STEM competition.
Many of her accomplishments have had goals that she set. Some of her goals that she has for this year are to pass with a master’s all of her STAAR tests. This year she wants to pass her TELPAS test with advanced high. She also wants to be able to pass the TSIA in order to get into Early College High School. Jade is interested in becoming a technician engineer because she likes to solve things and enjoys both science and math. Jade hopes to achieve her career and live a good, relaxing life.
