Experience: 15 years in education, including 12 years serving the Galena Park ISD community.

My "Why": I love math, and sharing that love with my students is at the core of what I do. I have a deep passion for technology and finding meaningful ways to integrate it into the classroom. Over the last two decades, I've programmed several apps, and I regularly use CAD software to design and 3D print custom tactile models that bring abstract concepts to life for my students. For me, the joy of learning runs perfectly parallel to the joy of teaching. I often think of Friedman's belief that the two are one and the same: teaching is learning, and learning is teaching.
