About the Teacher

My name is Mrs. Iliana Jasso. I am the reading interventionist and dyslexia teacher for students in Kinder-5th Grade. This will be my 19th year in education.  I have worked for Galena Park ISD as a Homegrown Teacher, and a Bilingual and ESL teacher.  This will be my 17th year at Havard Elementary. I am very excited to meet all my students and look forward to a great year.

I graduated from University of Houston-Clear Lake in 2009 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies - Early Childhood Education. I also received a Masters Degree from Lamar University in Teacher Leadership in 2021.
