On an early spring morning on June 16, 2007, in Galveston, Texas, Mia Maria was born. Her parents, Vilma and Oscar were so happy to have a newborn baby girl. Her older brother, Oscar Jr, wasn't too thrilled about having a new sibling. A few days later, Mia was taken to her childhood home in Houston, Texas. When she was five years old, her parents divorced, and she and her brother had to stay with their mom. Eventually, her mother got re-married to a man named Roberto. Mia was introduced to three new siblings, Alejandra, Karla, and Mateo.
Today, Mia is an eighth-grader at Woodland Acres Middle School. She enjoys going to all of her classes except Algebra. Her favorite subjects are Science and ELAR. She works hard to make sure her grades stay on top. In her free time, Mia enjoys watching YouTube videos and learning about true crime cases. She also likes listening to Indie music, and her favorite artists are girl in red, NCT, CORPSE, and TXT. She loves things that are aesthetically pleasing and likes to plan out what her future room and house would look like. Mia tries her hardest in school, and she tries to make time for all her assignments. Her special talents are overthinking, stressing, and procrastinating, but she's trying to gain some better talents.
Since the beginning of pre-kinder, Mia has had many accomplishments. She had a "winning streak" where she won the school's Principal's Award every year up until the fourth grade. In first grade, she was able to learn how tamales are made, and in fifth grade, she made her first tamale. In third grade, Mia won first place in the Rodeo Houston Art Contest. Throughout her education, she has received many A and AB Honor Roll certificates. In seventh grade, she learned how to do her hair, and in eighth grade, she cut it the shortest she's ever had it in a long time. Mia hopes to accomplish her goals in the future.
In the future, Mia hopes to become someone important in the world. She first has to accomplish her short-term goals, which are raising her grade in Algebra, focusing on her mental health, educating herself on world issues, and saving enough money to buy herself an iPad. She hopes to get into a good university so she can study forensic science. Forensic science is something that she has found so interesting since she started watching "Forensic Files" when she was six. When she finishes her years at university, she hopes to get a high-paying joband to find a future partner two years in her career and get married. When she has tied the knot, she wants to adopt children and love and cherish them as her own. When Mia retires, she wants to live a comfortable life. She wants to make a difference in the world, one way or another. Despite having many plans for her life, Mia wants to enjoy her youth. Although the idea of growing up scares her, she knows she has to thrive in order to make it through. When times get rough, she tells herself that she will get through this and to always remember to focus on herself.
