FORENSIC SCIENCE
Do you like crime shows like CSI, Bones, Forensic Files, IDHD or other crime documentaries? Then you are in the right class. Forensic science investigates and analyzes evidence to help with criminal investigations and other legal proceedings. We incorporate biology, physics, and chemistry. Forensic science also incorporates crime scene investigation tools and techniques. This class is lab based and is a LOT of fun.
ASTRONOMY
The Fall Semester of Astronomy is about the history of Astronomy: origins & exploration of the Solar System; the Earth-Moon system; Terrestrial (inner) & Jovian (outer) planets, and other objects in the Solar System. We begin learning about the area of space we call home to help us understand what lies beyond it. The Spring Semester of Astronomy is about things outside the Solar System: our star the Sun, other stars, galaxies, black holes, the Big Bang, and the rest of the Universe. This semester allows us to explore the vast Universe and understand that there is much to be discovered.
