How is it in The Middle Ages
Introduction
What happens in The Middle Ages? Would you be affected by the diseases that are incurable, would your riches depend on how you will be treated in life, as life goes on would you see mystical, and fierce creatures along the way of your life in The Middle Ages, or will it all happen in a blink of an eye
Feudalism
Feudalism is a type of social structure that started in Europe, and was controlled by a local lord, the local lord owned a piece of land, and controlled the taxes, land, people, and military service. They minted their own money, and wanted military service from vassals. The lord would live in the Castle that would be used for celebration, and also would be used for protection on the villagers in case of an attack.
The king was on top of the pyramid.
The king had a castle that had the whole village surround it, but the king did own the whole piece of land, But he couldn't take care of the whole piece of land, so he had a baron pledge their faith with the king, he would divide the land and put each baron in charge of one piece of the land along with soldiers to protect the land.
The second on the pyramid is the bishop. The bishop is the church leader, and was incharge of a place known as the diocese which made the bishop very powerful because they received ten percent of the earnings of the land. Which made them rich and powerful
Third on the pyramid is Barons and Nobles.
Barons, and Nobles are known for reporting what happens in the village they are in charge of. They are also incharge of the soldiers that protect the king. At most times the soldiers had to pay for their shields and that was called shield money, if they did have soldiers to protect the king at times they would have to pay taxes instead of the soldiers.
Fourth on the pyramid are the lords and Knights.
The lords are controlled by the manors, and also can be called into a fight at any time by their baron. They owned everything with the land including the peasants, crops, and practically the whole village.
Last on the pyramid are the peasants or known as serfs.
Out of all of the people there were mostly peasants, some peasants were able to start a business but most of them had rough times. They were more like slaves having to pledge to the lord to work very long hours a full week having only one day for a break even with work hard a full week they barely had any food to eat so most of them had been starving, some of them had to live with 10 - 60 families in a hut that had a dirt floor also with no windows.
The Black Death
The black death is a plague that had started in the 14th century in the Southern Russian near the crimea and it spreaded far along the Eastern towards Western Europe which made it spread to the Middle East the plague killed between 25%-50% which was 75 million of Europe's population In 1348 when black rats with infected fleas called ¨Yersinia pestis¨ ( history…) got attached to black rats which made the plague start to spread to humans causing painful death to millions.
It started as painful swelling then increased to lymph nodes also known as buboes, but they were called tumors for most of it. It grew near the armpit, neck ,and the groin area(the area between the thigh and stomach is), it grew to the size of an egg to an apple or if they were lucky it would be smaller , But there was different symptoms for each variant that were different from the East , blood would gush out of the patient's nose which was a sign of unstoppable death, and that was the first painful variant of many.
The second variant of the plague was called the pneumonic plague it spread easily by just barely breathing the victims breath just from a few feet away it was much more extreme than the first variant it targeted the lungs, and blood vessels a different version of the pneumonic plague called the “septicemic”(The…) which is when the bad bacteria enters your bloodstream and multiplies in the victim's blood stream causing the victims to die in 1-2 days they said it was like a wildfire but there was no medicine to sure this horrid disease, nor was there an easy way out of it.
Dragons
Many Dragons are known for their fire breathing, long body with four powerful legs, very long bat-like wings also with polyhedron shaped heads with a long neck like a giraffe and tail . In the western dragons are looked at as a wicked, bloodthirsty and fierce animals
Some dragons don't have wings, some have a human head, they have short legs, some have no legs or arms, they come in different variations back then there's way more than just this list, but that's just a few they are the most known dragon back then. There are many different types of dragons that come from many different countries like England, Eastern,Western, but the mythology in China of dragons is known as lung and there are 4 main types of lungs.
-The Tien-lung dragon who protects the gods' palace.
-The Shen-lung the dragon who controls the rain, and wind
-The Ti-lung who controls the rivers and water on earth
-Fiuts-lungs The dragon who protects the underworlds metals and gems
Then the dragon known as the Great chien-Tang that was in charge of the river, and water dragons he has a fiery fur like mane with blood like red scales that was about 900 feet long
Once a month they eat a sheep, ox or they eat humans too but they only eat one type of human which is the virgin maidens, because when they eat their heart because their heart is pure therefore their mane, or they themselves remains pure forever
Conclusion
