Class overview

Our goal as a class is to achieve mastery over ELA concepts, including reading, writing, grammar, research, and oral communication. My goal as a teacher is to create a safe and respectful learning environment, and pass on my love of all things English!

About Ms. Stephens

I have bachelor's degrees in English Creative Writing, and Studio Art from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. After nearly fifteen years working in the Oil & Gas industry as a seismic data manager, I decided I wanted a more exciting and fulfilling career and chose to transition to teaching English. I am married to my college sweetheart, have three children, and the world's cutest mini dachshund named Jellybean! I am thrilled to be entering my third year at Galena Park High School!
