Hello! My name is Mrs. Hill, and I am your 10th grade English teacher. This is my 10th year in education. I taught 9th grade for 5 years at Galena Park High School, 2 years teaching 7th grade at Crosby Middle School, and this is my 3rd year at North Shore 10.

I grew up in Pasadena and graduated from Pasadena Memorial High School in '09. I went on to receive my bachelors and masters degrees from Texas A&M University in '13 and '14. Needless to say, my heart will forever and always be in Aggieland!

I love teaching high school English because I feel it offers skills that are truly valuable in the real world. In most, if not all, careers today, the ability to communicate is essential. In order to do this, one must be able to read between the lines, think deeply and write critically. It is my goal as your English teacher to help you realize your true potential with these skills. My absolute favorite moments are when I get to witness my students experience the freedom and power that comes with mastering your own learning.
