Members must wear a Distinguished And Debonair shirt , black bottoms, and black or purple belt on meeting days, field trips, or as required by the organization.
Members must participate in Debonair Thursdays by wearing a black button down shirt, black pants, and purple or black tie or bow tie.
If removed from the organization, the student must not wear a Distinguished and Debonair shirt. Items purchased by the organization must be returned. Student must not wear organization attire or use call and response. A student/parent(s) cannot contest the ruling.
Students can be removed for the following reasons at the sponsor's digression:
Fighting
Receiving less than an (S) in conduct on the report card.
Talking disrespectfully to an adult.
2 office referrals for poor conduct.
Constantly disrupting the school setting.
Dancing in a manner deemed unbecoming or a Debonair.
Not wearing Distinguished and Debonair apparel when required.
If a student had a (D) in their core subjects on the report card, he will be placed on probation and must attend 4 tutorials per (D) before the next report card, or be dismissed.
A Distinguished and Debonair member should strive to participate in core classes daily.
Going to ISS for conduct that is unbecoming of a Distinguished and Debonair member.
Students will be removed from the following organization for the following reasons:
Receiving an (F) on the report card.
Missing more than 2 activities per semester.
Missing more than 2 meetings per nine weeks.
Having to attend 2 documents meetings because of behavior.
If a Distinguished and Debonair member is having difficulty in a class, he should:
Let a sponsor know immediately.
Check to see if work can be made up.
Attend tutorials.
Complete extra credit work if granted by the teacher.
