THE DARK TIMES OF THE MIDDLE AGES
Introduction
To begin i will be talking about all the beautiful clothing, hair and headwear that the wealthy and not so wealthy used back then and also about all the difficulties that they went through in the feudalism system and how the kind was in charge and how all the different ranking in the feudalism system lived and how challenging it was to be in the time that the plague was happening and how it started and all the different types of plague they could of gotten.
Feudalism
The feudal system was a government system and the ways that they used the feudal system was that it was a ranking so the kings where always of on top of the rancings then below them where the novels and the continued the knight and at the bottom where the serves witch where alike to the slaves that where the lowest class. And the way the king whould take care of the was that he whould provide protection to the lower clases and in return the lower clases would give the king there material and some of there money. But since the king could not control all the land by himself because that was to much work so he divided all the land in equal and he would give the land to the berths and the novels so that they could take care of the lower class. But the king still owned all the peasants, crops, and villages so the serfs and peasants always had to be growing food for themselves and the king. The survs also could not do very much without the kings permission they could not marry without the king's permission and he would decide what there punishment would be if they committed a crime. And they needed the king's permission if they wanted to leave but if they ran away to a town and somehow stayed there for a year and a day then they would be free. But they did have a bit of rights like (Ross)he could not be put in trouble if the manor changed hands) and he was not required to fight for the king and and he was entitled to the protection of the king.
Plague
The plague was a really deadly sickness that went on for four years and killed twenty five million people and u may be asking how can this sickness could have been so deadly and how did it start well the way that all that sickness started from was from all the rats that lived in the sewers and of course those rats where really dirty because of all the waste and dirty water but then fleas started to bite those rats and then those fleas started to bite people and they got all those sickness from the rats and they started to get the sickness but there was not just one type of plague there were three types of plague the first one that was the most common plague and (Black death)people would get swellings or buboes that would appear on their neck or armpits the tumors could be the size of an egg or even an apple) and the life expectancy was just a week the second type of plague was from breathing the same air from a person with the plague and the life expectancy was only one or two days. People did not know the cause of it so they did not know how to find a cure to stop it and then it started to spread everywhere and there would be places that.after many years passed the plague finally ended and it left tragic memories to people.
Hair and Clothes
During all the things that happened in the middle ages they did have some pretty thing in the middle ages like hair and clothes the clothes that the women wore where dress and the dresses that the more upper class women wore dresses that where all mostly made of linen or silk.but not everybody gotta wear such beautiful dresses the people that did not have enuf money for those fancy dresses whore dresses that were not made of as good materia they were made of whole. And what they had to go along with there dresses where there hair they usually wore long tresses and braids and bands to keep it to not fall on there face and they also used headwear and one type of headwear that they would put on there hair was called a filet and mostly unmarried woman would wear a fillet.one of the most popular ones was called a gable hood witch was designed with embroidered lappets. And the wealthy men clothing that they wore was hose and a jacket and many times with a pleating or a skirting or even a tunic with a surcoat . but the less wealthy men wore much less than the wealthier men they usually wore a tunic made of cloth or leather and where barefoot or used simple leather shoes.and for their hair they preferred long flowing hair and it was common for a man to tie up in a bun and even sometimes they liked to grow a beard and the kings would usually do this because that was considered a symbol of power and authority.Something that we have in common is that they had so many different types of ways to style their head and to use head where and many different types of clothes just like whe do know with all types of hair and clothes from many cultures.
Conclusion
The middle ages was a rally important time in the world that had many dangerous things like the plague that was a really deadly sickness and also it was a challenging time with the feudalism system and they all tried to survive but even do they had a lot of challenges they did have some pretty things like there dresses and there hair. And everyone should learn about the middle ages because it was a really interesting time that people had to live in.
