Welcome Back! My name is Ms. LaPria Cashaw, and I am proud to serve as the school counselor at Purple Sage Elementary. I have had the privilege of working at PSE for 24 years. I have been the Counselor for 20 years. I have enjoyed my time here at Purple Sage.
I have the priviledg of working with students in Pre- K through 5th grade, helping them develop the social, emotional, academic and life skills they need to be successful. This year all students at PSE will benefit from our Comprehensive School Counseling Program through a variety of activities such as classroom guidance lessons, individual and group counseling, Red Ribbon Week, and College and Career activities.

Campus Counseling Mission Statement
At Purple Sage Elementary the Counselor will encourage each student to be successful learners, productive citizens and lifelong learners by implementing a Comprehensive Counseling Program. The Counselor will support the academic success of all students, introduce students to post-secondary careers, and help with the development of personal social and emotional growth. The cooperation of Parents, Teachers, Staff, and community will ensure this mission is accomplished.
