My Coaching Philosophy
My philosophy is to create a partnership with teachers where we work together to create and implement best practices to help all students succeed inside and outside of the classroom. Being a mentor and sharing my knowledge with teachers brings me immense joy. Through my coaching I would like to provide support and empowerment to all teachers. We all bring something valuable to the table. As a team we can work together to piece it all together and help our students grow and reach their full potential.

About me
I have two sons, Collin who is 15 and Carson who is 12. Their sports schedules keep me very busy, but I love watching them pursue their passions. My husband Chad and I have been married for 17 years and we enjoy taking short weekend trips as a family, with San Antonio being one of our favorite destinations. We also love spending time on the water and taking our boys tubing. Despite our busy lifestyle, we have grown accustomed to the chaos.
I am entering my 19th year in the field of education, starting as a paraprofessional and transitioning to a teaching career in the fall of 2008. Throughout my career, I have taught 5th, 2nd, Prek, and Kindergarten. After leaving the classroom, I worked with teachers to complete the Texas Reading Academies. I then became a district Bilingual/ESL Reading Coach and later worked in the curriculum department in Crosby ISD before joining Galena Park School District.
