On this page, you will find information about the classes I teach, ways to contact me, and a little about myself. At the top, you will find separate links for Parent and Student information. The Parent page will have forms to join your student's Google Classroom, as well as a form that can be filled out if you want to set up a Parent/Teacher meeting. The Student page will have an area for each class with a calendar of assignments and due dates.
I teach at North Shore Senior High School. I am currently teaching Art 2, Advanced Art 2, AP Studio Art-2D, AP Art Drawing, and AP Art History. This is my 16th year teaching at GPISD.
I just completed my Master's in Humanities in Art at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. I have my Bachelor of Arts degree from the Art Institute of Houston in Interior Design and an Associate's degree in Architecture from Miami Dade College. Eight years of my life were devoted to serving in the U.S. Army.
I enjoy my content area, and my students' growth and happiness are always paramount.

Starting with the 2025-2026 school year, a new Texas law (HB1481) requires school districts to limit student use of personal communication devices during the school day. To comply with HB1481, ALL STUDENT ELECTRONIC DEVICES WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE LEFT AT HOME OR POWERED OFF AND PUT AWAY while on campus during the instructional day. Students will not be allowed to use personal devices at any time during the school day. This policy helps reduce distractions, protect student privacy, and support learning.
For complete information regarding HB1481, please refer to the following districtwide communication below.
