I’m in my ninth year teaching here at Galena Park ISD. My classroom is a welcoming space where learning and fun go hand in hand—a safe environment for exploration and open discussion. Together, we explore the world through engaging activities and the use of technology. My goal is for every student to grow into a successful, capable, and knowledgeable adult with a strong foundation in world history and economics, equipped with critical thinking skills and financial literacy.
I am certified in Social Studies for grades 7–12 and have taught 10th, 11th, and 12th grades. I completed my teacher training at the University of Houston–Clear Lake. Additionally, I hold a B.A. in Economics from Smith College and a Master of Public Health in Health Education/Health Promotion from the University of Texas School of Public Health. Currently, I am in my first semester of a master’s program in History at the University of Houston–Clear Lake.
