Thank you for volunteering to work at the UIL Area F Marching Band Contest hosted by Galena Park ISD on Saturday, November 2. Your time and service are greatly appreciated. Our fall marching contests are major fundraisers for our GPISD band programs and provide a positive contest experience to the participating bands. The profits from the contest go directly to your band program. It is important that everyone shows up when scheduled and remains during their entire shift so that the day runs smoothly and all jobs are adequately covered.

Everyone is encouraged to wear comfortable, casual attire while assisting with this event. A school themed shirt is also recommended as it helps to easily identify you as a Galena Park ISD parent from GPHS, NSSH, Cobb, CMS, GPMS, NSMS, or WAMS to our visiting band students and spectators.
For those working in the concession stand, you are asked to adhere to the following guidelines:
Wear comfortable closed toe shoes (no flip-flops, sandals)
Upper arms must be covered (no bare shoulders, sleeveless shirts, tank tops, spaghetti straps, etc.)
Gloves and hair nets will be provided for food handling safety.
You are welcome to wear your own hat or visor (instead of one of the provided hairnets)
Free parking is available in the "home parking lot" (this is the parking lot between the stadium & North Shore Sr. High School)
Buses and equipment trucks will be entering from N. Castlegory RD & Wallisville RD (constables will have this entrance closed off)
Workers and spectators must enter from Evanston ST & Wallisville RD (to avoid congestion with school buses & equipment trucks)
