Managing Risks

In order to reduce risks due to criminal activity it is necessary to identify people, property and other assets and the threats to which they are exposed. This information is then documented and discussed with the client.

Security Improvements

If the client so wishes, Gough Consultants Limited will produce detailed specifications for physical security works and electronic security systems, including intruder alarms, CCTV and lighting, in order that quotations can be sought from suitably qualified contractors. Regular checks will be undertaken on behalf of the client to ensure high standards of workmanship and compliance with specification.

Survey Report

A survey looks at the identified assets and considers their vulnerabilities, bearing in mind any security measures already in place. This process will often reveal a number of shortcomings, as threats may well have changed or increased since the existing security arrangements were put in place. A report, together with prioritised and costed recommendations, is then compiled for the client.
