Hi! Thanks for coming in for me. I hope you have an amazing day in the music/french portable! Classes come to you, please meet them at the portable door as some need to be supervised in transit across the yard. Their details are below in the day plan. Students in Primary/Junior are to go to the washroom in the building in pairs. Students are expected to wear CLEAN, dry footwear in the portable, usually this means changing into indoor footwear.

Medical and safety plan information is available in the main office. If there are specific concerns they are noted below. There is a walkie-talkie charging by the door. 

For supervision on the yard (all days except 3 and 8) 11:00-11:20 please wear the orange vest and take the walkie with you.

In the event of a fire drill, someone will knock on the portable door or page you from the office (in case you don't actually hear it. we are technically far enough away from the building... so we don't have alarms. but it's still good to practice.), exit the portable, turn left and walk to the backstop of the baseball diamond. There is a list in the red duotang hanging from the fuse box to the left of the portable door. Take attendance and hold up your folder when complete.

In the event of a lockdown, ensure the portable door is locked (tumbler is horizontal and pushed in) and the blinds are drawn, lights off. A nearby poster can be used to block the window in the main door.

In the event of a tornado drill, immediately walk the students to their homeroom tornado drill location. Of course, this will vary, and they will tell you where they need to go. There is a list in the red duotang hanging from the fuse box to the left of the portable door.

9:00 prep

9:20 7/8 frank french

Choices: puzzle handout on the piano (clothing vocab), OR they can pair up with a whiteboard and play guess my number OR a vocab game they know using clothing words.

Give them a break for 10 mins 955-1005 then music class. If you're comfortable with instruments, they can play, they have a test to prepare for and a small group carol to work on OR they can get chromebooks from next door + their class. 1040 break

11 duty on tarmac vest and walkie by the door to the portable.

1120 7/8 dallier french ((take block b attendance)) same as above.

12 prep - you may need to make more copies of the puzzle handout

1240 6/7 french puzzle handout for everyone. Then same as above

1:20 break - Claire Doyle will run choir rehearsal in the portable.
