ESL students from OLD NORTH PS who have chosen remote learning will have a teacher in their virtual classroom on Google Classroom or Brightspace. As the ESL teacher, I will work with their virutal classroom teacher to provide support, as needed.

Daily Minimum Requirements for Synchronous (Real Time) Learning
Kindergarten - 180 minutes
Grade 1 to 8 - 225 minutes
The times indicated above are in addition to independent (asynchronous) learning which is part of a student’s day. The school day for students enrolled in Full Remote Learning remains a 300-minute instructional day.
Elementary students who choose Full Remote Learning will participate in real time, synchronous learning every day. Classes will be led by qualified teachers at scheduled times during the school day. The amount of time students will spend in Full Remote Learning will be equal to the same amount of time as students who chose In-Person Learning. It will be expected that students in the Full Remote Learning Model participate every day; attendance will be monitored.
