Until We Meet Again

• Make a video recording of yourself performing Melody 1, Melody 2, and/or Chords.

• Try performing all 3 (2 for some instruments, 1 for percussion).

• You MUST perform at 80 beats per minute. Have the audio running through ear/headphones so you play in time. Please don't capture the audio track in your video recording(s).

  • Audio track has a 2-bar count in (8 clicks); clicks continue through the entire track.

• Be sure to tune before you start your recordings!

  • You can use this online tuner app, but just remember if you're NOT a concert pitch instrument, the pitch will look different. Tune to Concert B-flat (clarinets, trumpets, tenor sax - play C; alto/bari sax - play G; French horn - play F).

• Watch the key signature! There are sharps or flats you might not be used to playing.

• Record yourself:

  • with your face showing (you and your parents will need to give consent to all your recording to be shared), or

  • with your face not showing.

• Submit your videos:

  • to the Google Classroom assignment (4BV, 4TD, 5RB, 6JC, 7MM, 8RC, 8RM)

  • email to tv46293@gotvdsb.ca (Mr. Allison's goTVDSB gmail)

  • share with Mr. Allison on Google Drive

• Videos are due by the evening of this Thursday, June 4th, because instruments are being dropped back off to school this Friday!
