1st Semester Timetable Change Requests

Attention all Oaks,

The deadline to submit to the Guidance office a signed Timetable Change request form is 3:00 pm on Tuesday September 9th. There will be no exceptions made to this deadline. The forms can be picked up in the Guidance office or downloaded from the Oakridge homepage. Please note that the vast majority of courses are already full with waitlists. Students must follow their current timetables unless they are informed by their Guidance Counsellor that a timetable change was successfully made for them.

Oakridge Grads 2026 Google Classroom

ATTN. Oakridge GRADS of June 2026. This year the Guidance department will be communicating vital information to you throughout the school year with all things pertaining to the transition from High School to Post-Secondary education, from High School to the workplace, and information for grade 12s planning to returning to Oakridge for grade 13, all through a Google Classroom designed just for YOU! Some examples of the important items we will be communicating to our grade 12 population this coming school year through our Oakridge Grads 2026 Google Classroom include: special programming to support graduation (e.g. Dual Credit, OYAP); scholarship/bursary opportunities; all details regarding grade 12 commencement in June; and how to apply for commencement awards. Especially important will be information surrounding the application process to Ontario Colleges and Universities. Your parents will receive a weekly summary of everything that has been uploaded to the Oakridge Grads 2026 Google Classroom if they have ever been connected to a Google Classroom of yours in the past.

Please join as soon as possible, as the application portal for OCAS (Ontario College Application System) opens in September.

Grade 12's: 2 online credit OPT-OUT process

REMINDER: Grade 12's - make sure your 2 online credit graduation requirement has either been met or you have completed the OPT-OUT process now that it is June: SEE BELOW

Secondary Online Learning Graduation Requirement OPT-OUT process: Attention all GRADS - The ability to OPT-OUT of the two online credit requirement towards graduation of your OSSD is now available and you should do it ASAP if you have not taken a minimum of two online courses over the past 3 1/2 years of secondary school.

If you are under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must OPT-OUT for you from their Parent Portal account. If you are 18 years old or older, you can OPT-OUT from your Student Portal account. A letter was sent home to all families last week from the Thames Valley District School Board outlining the necessary steps to take in either the Parent or Student Portal to complete the online, two course requirement, OPT-OUT process.
