Prime Numbers & Factors
A prime number is a whole number with exactly two divisors, 1 and itself. The number 1 is not a prime, since it has only one divisor.
One way to visualize all the factors of a number is to use a factor rainbow.
Prime factorization breaks down a number’s factors into PRIME NUMBERS. This can be done using a factor tree.
Identify each number as a prime number or a composite number. If the number is composite, list all of its factors.
