Hello All,
If you are a potential graduate (you need 10 or fewer credits) for this year. There are a few things you need to know:
1. The volunteer hour requirement is 40 hours, so be sure you have 40 before June 15....if you have not yet completed hours, be sure to get those done. You can email a copy of your hours sheet and we will add them. Your parents can also upload volunteer information in the parent portal. A link to possible volunteer opportunities and a copy of the volunteer hours sheet can be found here: https://sites.google.com/gotvdsb.ca/montcalm-guidance/home/community-involvement
3. Check your student portal to see what you may need to graduate, and let your guidance counsellor know ASAP if you are missing something. DO NOT RELY ON MYBLUEPRINT. See below for requirements.
4. Finally, this is a reminder that Potential Graduates must opt out of the online course requirement if they have not completed two online courses. This can be done in the parent portal or come down to guidance to pick up the opt out form. Students will not graduate without opting out.
