'Monthly Academic Focus' will contain information about what we are currently learning and discovering within each subject. This will constantly be changing as we move throughout our curriculum. We will be integrating subjects into each other (working cross-curricular) as a way to delve deeper into each subject and explore the real-world applications (e.g., health topics in drama, science in language, math in science).
Math: We will be exploring math using Big Ideas rather than going unit by unit. This allows the students to dig deeper into each concept, explore real-world connections, and have multiple opportunities to practice throughout the year.
