Each week when classes come to the library, we explore and learn with robotics, media literacy, coding, and creation. See below for some of the highlights.
The students learned about strong and stable structures. They created towers using these unique blocks called Keva blocks.
Our Grade 1-3 students learned to code on the carpet with this hands on game of robot instructions.
The Grade 4, 5, and 6 students used the iPads to create scenes for their characters. Using an app called Green Screen, these are some of the creative ideas they came up with!
Code-a-Pillar is our first robot this year. We learned to use his different body parts to give instructions and make predictions about where he would go.
The Grade 5 and 6 classes explored with littleBits, an electricity kit that uses control boxes to change the electrical output.
All classes from Grade 1-6 got to build with LEGO this week. The creations were fantastic!
