Ensembles

Medway offers both large and small ensembles for band and choir.
Our bands and choirs perform at various events and competitions throughout the year. In 2014, the Madrigal Choir competed in the CBC Choral Competition and finished with 3rd place overall in Canada.
Please see a music teacher to join or show up at the rehearsal times below!
Repertoire credits (0.5) are available for band and choir in all grades.

Bands

Grade 9 Band

Open to all students in grade 9
Rehearsals: Wednesday at 2:30

Junior Band

Grade 10
Rehearsals: Monday at 2:30 and Wednesday at 3:30

Senior Band

Grades 11/12
Rehearsals: Monday at 2:30 and Wednesday at 3:30

Jazz Band

Auditioned ensemble
Rehearsals: Tuesday at 2:30

Open to all students in grade 9

Concert Choir

Open to all students in grades 9-12
Rehearsals: Monday at 3:30 and Wednesday at 2:30

Madrigal Choir

Auditioned chamber ensemble for advanced singers
Rehearsals: Tuesday and Friday at 7:10am

Cantabella (Soprano/Alto Choir) Tenor/Bass Choir

Open to all students involved in grade 9 or concert choir
