Students need to achieve 24 points.

FOR 2023-2024 - 18 POINTS ARE REQUIRED DUE TO THE IMPACT OF COVID.

This award will be presented upon graduation.  To be eligible for these points, the student must complete the year with the team and have maintained good attendance at required practices and events.

Points Per Team Played Per Season:

·        Completed TVRA Season – 3 points

·        Participated at WOSSAA – 1 point

·        Participated at OFSAA – 1 point

Therefore, a maximum of 5 points per team per season.

Bonus Points: 

·     Member of a team for 4 years – 1 point per sport that was played for 4 years (FOR 2023-2024- 3 YEARS ON A TEAM WILL EARN 1 BONUS POINT)

·     Outstanding Contributions:  Other athletic leadership roles within Medway/Community (i.e. SAA, team managers, timers, scorekeepers, etc.) can earn additional points.  Awarded at the discretion of coaches/AD.

NOTE:  For Individual sports (i.e.. Track and Field, Swimming, etc.) -  You cannot attain points for all the events that you compete in.  You must choose the ONE event in your sport with the highest standing and record the appropriate points for it.

Applications for this award are completed in the spring of the student’s graduating year.
