Things to Remember
- Create rough notes before you start writing the news report (briefly answer the 5 Ws and How).
- Make sure that the report is about the headline and photo provided.
- Indent each paragraph.
- Include a quotation from someone involved in the event.
- Write in the past tense.
- Do the news report first so that when you’re finished the test, you can go back and re-read it and make any changes as necessary.
