Each year the Ontario Library Association runs the Forest of Reading program. The Forest of Reading is Canada’s largest recreational reading program with over 270,000 participants every year. At McGregor, we participate in the Blue Spruce branch of the program which has 10 nominated picture books, all by Canadian authors.
