My name is Ryan Matthews and I will be your child's teacher for this upcoming school year. This will be my fifth year at Masonville Public School and I am very excited to get started. I have been an Educator for the past 15 years and have spent many of those years teaching Grades 7 & 8. My educational passions include experiential learning opportunities, purposeful technology integration and inquiry based learning. 

I was raised in Whitby, Ontario and came to London after meeting my amazing wife Ashley. I am a proud dad of my daughter Lila and son Nixon. I love playing hockey, baseball and golf and am a passionate Edmonton Oiler and Toronto Blue Jay fan. Some of my other hobbies include building/construction, running and reading.

I am looking forward to a great school and can't wait to meet everyone!
