Student responsibilities include:

• Bring a recorder to school and have their materials on days when they have music.

• Practice their recorders and music on a regular basis (there is always the option to bring home recorders to practice).

• Be prepared for all classes - students will be reminded that they need to be prepared to learn and play each class. This means having their instrument with them, listening attentively, and trying their best.

All students will begin in the "white belt" and will have the option to "test" for new belts as the year progresses. They will have the choice to play on testing days in class or to record themselves and submit a video. Videos can be shared with Mme Abbey at tv48436@gotvsb.ca

Below you will find the sheet music and accompaniment for each of the karate belt songs. Note, Down By The Station and School do not have accompaniment as the focus for these songs is for students to keep their own beat and count the value of each note themselves.
