what is shsm?

The Specialist High Skills Major is a Ministry-approved specialized program which allows students to focus their learning in the Health and Wellness sector while meeting the requirements of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD). It assists in their transition from secondary school to apprenticeship training, college, university or the workplace. It allows students to experience a range of customized learning opportunities to explore, identify, and refine career goals and make informed decisions related to to post-secondary education or training.
