We know that our planet is undergoing significant change due to human activity. How does that affect our lives? In this course, we'll study different natural disasters, how and why they happen, and how we coexist with our sometimes dangerous planet. We will study the physical geography related to the earth’s water, land, and air systems, investigate how these processes shape the planet and affect human systems, how they are involved in the creation of natural disasters, and how they influence the impacts of human disasters.
