We are constantly researching, reviewing and implementing new and innovative ways to teach mathematics at CECI. Listed below are some of the strategies we are trying and the research to support them.
Spiralling Curriculum - a process of having students focus on a range of diverse skills instead of a specific block of skills at a time like we used to do with a unit approach
Vertical Non-permanent Surfaces (VNPS) - students are standing up, writing on non-permanent surfaces (chalkboards/whiteboards) discussing, sharing, coaching each other
