Recital season is here, and we are getting ready for our 

2026 Annual Recital – Gotta Dance Goes 80s! 

FRIDAY & STURDAY June 19th & 20th

With incredible 80s music, bright colors, and high-energy performances, this is going to be one of our most fun shows yet as we celebrate 22 years of Gotta Dance Company.

The opportunity to perform in a recital is an exciting, empowering and confidence-building part of the training process. This is where we love to watch our students learn about the theatre, rehearsals and teamwork while they enjoy the opportunity to showcase their skills in a professionally run production. Recitals are a wonderful way for students to showcase the results of their hard work and for family and friends to join in the pride of their achievement. We love giving all students the chance to perform for their family and friends in this supportive and fun environment and encourage even our youngest and newest performers to be involved.  

In terms of attendance, it is very important that students miss as few  as possible of their scheduled classes between March 1st and recital, so they can spend their rehearsal time together to perform their routines, feel confident and look amazing. We know the spring is a busy time, so as always, we request you let us know via phone or email if your dancer will be missing class so we can plan accordingly. 

Please also note that  any families with unpaid fees will not be allowed to participate in our recital, so please settle your accounts by June 5th.

This is without doubt the highlight of our year and we are filled with excitement to show you how hard our dancers have been working!  

Recital timeline:

March 31st - Last day to opt in to recital

$285 for 1st dance, $125 for each additional dance if automatically opted in and pd after Mar 1st

*a $10 late fee will be charged for every 15 days after April 1st for fees not paid in full

• Recital fees are non-refundable

May 1st - Recital tickets go on sale

May 21st - Recital Merchandise/Program Ads orders DUE

June 5th - Parent Jam & Opening Experience rehearsals begin

June 6th - Annual costume pickup party/showcase

June 8th-9th - Recital pictures - schedule TBA

June 15th-17th - Studio Dress/Technical Rehearsal - schedule TBA

June 19th-20th- - Recital-venue TBA
