Children need healthy meals to learn. Gothenburg Public Schools offers healthy meals every school day. Effective for the School Year 2022-23, Gothenburg Public Schools will serve meals at a fee of $3.00 for lunch Jr/Sr High students; and $2.70 for Elementary students. Brunch is offered daily for $1.65. Reduced priced meals are $.40 for lunch and $.25 for brunch.

With the turn of a new school year and the elimination of the USDA Waiver, a new meal application is required. You are encouraged to apply at any time of the school year.

The application must be submitted in printed form. It can be mailed to the attention of Joni Jacobsen at Gothenburg Public Schools, 1322 Ave I, Gothenburg, NE 69138. You may also drop it off at the elementary or high school office between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Only one meal application is needed for each household.
