Hello!
My name is Mrs. Smith and I am a first grade teacher at Mifflin Park Elementary. I graduated from Governor Mifflin in 2001, and this will be my 13th year teaching first grade in the district. In 2005 I received my degree in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Penn State University, and in 2012 I earned a Master's degree in Early Childhood Literacy from Wilkes University.

My husband, Matt, is also a graduate of Governor Mifflin, and we have three children. Capri just turned 12 and is entering 7th grade. Bradley is 8 and heading to third grade, and Jack is 4 and keeps us busy and laughing! We love spending time as a family and can often be found at one of many of the girls' sporting events! I'm sure you'll hear lots more about my family throughout the year!
In my spare time, I love to spend time with my family and friends, read, exercise, shop, and find fun new recipes to try from Pinterest! I also love coffee! I really, really love my Wawa coffee! :)
