Fort Mason is a federal property and therefore it is prohibited to sell cannabis products.
All booth construction materials should be made with flame resistant materials or properly treated to be flame retardant.
Any canopies/tents need to also be flame resistant and have both a smoke detector and an accessible fire extinguisher nearby. Anything larger than a 10x20 needs to be reviewed for special approval. Each exhibitor is responsible for providing their own fire extinguisher and smoke detector for their canopies/tents/structures.
Nothing can be stored against the walls of the building. The pavilion is marked with a white line around the perimeter of the space that must remain clear of debris and materials at all times. NO EXCEPTIONS.
We cannot store combustible materials inside the building. Boxes and packing materials are the most common issues – They should be broken down and disposed of right away. If you want to keep boxes and packing materials, these items need to be stored outside the building.
Anyone selling, sampling or dispensing food and/or beverages to the general public must have a Temporary Food Permit (TFE) from the National Park Service. Exhibitors without a form on file will not be permitted to distribute. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Double-stick, gaff or duct tape may not be adhered directly to the asphalt floor.
All cords and cables in public areas must be covered with cord holders such as a yellow jacket or ramp. Carpets or tape alone are not sufficient in public areas.
Vehicles will still access the pavilion by entering lower Fort Mason from Marina Boulevard by Buchanan Street. Once inside the Fort entrance wall, continue straight following the retaining wall all the way to the Festival Pavilion on the waterfront.
The Festival Pavilion apron is the acceptable area outside of the Pavilion for event load‐in and load‐out. Vendor vehicles, vans, and trucks are allowed to park in these zones during these times, but egress paths must be maintained at all times. No parking directly in front of the Festival Pavilion doors. Only items pre‐approved by the Fire Marshal may remain on the apron once the event begins. Trucks may not idle their engine for more than 30 seconds, per National Park Service policy.
Pre-purchased parking passes will be distributed on Thursday, 7/25 during the load-in window. The parking pass is good for one space in Parking Lot 1, south of the Festival Pavilion. There is no overnight parking allowed at Fort Mason. Vehicles will be ticketed and towed.
On Thursday from 9am-5pm, there will be a check-in desk located at the entrance to the pavilion. Credentials (parking passes and table linens if ordered in advance), will be distributed at this time.
Fort Mason Center does not guarantee parking availability for events on campus. Guests are required to pay for parking at one of the parking stations on campus using the parking space number indicated. Free parking is available outside of the entrance to Fort Mason along the Marina Green. As always, use caution and please make sure you do not leave anything on display or of value in your car at all times.
All deliveries must take place within the designated load-in times. (Thursday 9am - 6pm and Friday 8am - 11am) Fort Mason Center will not accept packages or vendor deliveries on behalf of the SF Marathon. Trucks may not idle their engine for more than 30 seconds, per National Park Service policy.

First Aid will be on site during the public open hours of the expo. They will be located at the North end of the Pavilion. Special Medical Aid will be the service provider.
On site security will be provided by Shaw Managment Group. Twenty-four hour security monitoring of the pavilion will begin on Wednesday at 10pm and will remain until Saturday at 10pm. Please be mindful that security is roaming and will not be dedicated to just one area. We highly recommend taking your valuable items with you at the end of each day; tents, tables, chairs, signs, etc. are ok to remain on site and in place at your booth space.
