We are incredibly thankful for the amazing support from our entire school community for the recent Food & Hygiene Drive!
Thanks to your generosity, we collected a huge amount of essential non-perishable food and vital hygiene products. This effort truly shows our community's commitment to helping our Gorham neighbors.
Next week, our Student Leaders will deliver all collected items to the Gorham Food Pantry and get the official weigh-in.
Keep an eye out for an update next week! We'll share the final total and celebrate the meaningful difference we all made in our community.
CLYNK BOTTLE AND CAN DRIVE FOR A PLAYGROUND GAGA PIT
NARRAGANSETT is excited to go GAGA for CLYNK! We are raising funds for a GAGA PIT to be used on the playground! Ask your student what GAGA is and how to play!
HOW YOU CAN HELP
1. Fill the CLYNK bag sent home from school.
2. Drop it off at your local Hannaford.
3. Let your teacher know if you want more bags and/or tags.
If you are already a CLYNKer. Great! It’s easy to support Narragansett! You can donate funds directly from your balance. You can choose to direct part or all of your balance.
1. Login to your account.
2. Select Donations on the left taskbar.
3. Scroll to Donate Funds from your Balance.
4. Select Narragansett Elementary School - PIE and determine the amount you want to donate!
Throughout the year, we host Family Breakfast by grade level for our Narragansett families. This is a great way to connect with your school community! Breakfast is served from 8:00-8:30 am in the cafeteria. Parking is available in our parking areas or across the street at St. Anne’s Church.

Kindergarten PRE-REGISTRATION
Please fill out our pre-registration kindergarten survey on your student. This information is used as our primary form of communication during the registration process. You can use the following link to pre-register your incoming kindergarten student or share with any member of our community that may have a student to register:
This is a reminder to make sure your students are dressed warmly for winter temperatures in Maine. Students have a 25-minute recess period daily. Teachers may also take children outside for regular breaks.
Temperature is checked by going to www.weather.com and putting in the Gorham zip code. The actual temperature will appear as well as the "feels like" temperature. If it "feels like" 10 degrees or above, students will go out.
When there is snow on the ground, students must have grade-level appropriate snow gear in order to play on the field or equipment while at school. Otherwise, they are limited to the blacktop.
Grades PreK-3: Full snow gear (jacket, snow pants, boots)
Grades 4-5: Boots and jacket
