It is that time of year again for us to post and recruit and try to add to our incredibly talented substitute pool here in Gorham! As a means to assist substitutes in feeling better prepared to substitute, we offer a quick training course that occurs over the course of three evenings. This course is not required to become a substitute in our system, but by taking it you get a "jump" in your daily rate and you get some really great training that helps to make sure your experiences in our schools are positive ones!
Our Current daily rates for substitutes are as follows:
Note: We do pay an additional $10.00 per day for subsitute positions in specialized programs.
$150.00/day for certified teachers
$140.00/day for substitutes having completed training course
$ 125.00 for all other subs
