My Expectations of Students
Students will be in class on time, well organized and ready to learn.
Students will not yell, or belittle others in class.
Students will turn in every assignment.
Students will participate in class discussions, help explain concepts to others and will ask questions when they don’t understand something.
Students will not take things from the teacher’s desk, cabinet, or shelves.
Materials needed for class:
· Book and workbook
· Pencils or pens
· Paper
Students should do their own work, and participate when asked to. NO WORK= NO CREDIT
ABSENCE
If a student is absent, it is the student’s responsibility to get the notes and work missed while absent. The work will be placed in a class period folder and students should pick it up the day they return from being absent.
Tutoring
Students that need tutoring should come to my room during study hall and get help.
Make sure that YOU (the student) do not have to be somewhere else for study hall. Students that do not work will be sent back to their regular class.
Grades
Student’s grades will be as follow:
- Your daily work will count as 60%
- Your test will count 40%

Each class period will discuss what it looks like and sounds like to respect yourself, respect others and respect property. The class descriptions will be posted in our room.

How to succeed in Mr. Bernon’s Class:
- Be prepared and participate. Ask questions
- Don’t get zeros for losing work
- Finish every assignment on time
- Take notes in class
- Study for tests and quizzes
