Here you will find links to my favourite online video resources, and websites, for all things science (mostly). If you spend a significant amount of time watching videos online, I challenge you to upgrade the intellectual content...I hope you take some time to explore and to get inspired.

MinutePhysics Awesome and short explanations of the strange and wonderful concepts in physics

Veritasium A very high quality, and great science, channel that explores commonly misunderstood scientific concepts

Sloan Digital Sky Survery is an online database of millions of astronomical objects, along with a Navigator Tool to do real astronomy research...an awesome resource and one we use in SES 4UI.

Astronomy.Net is a great resource for getting real astronomy info from people's photos of the night sky...Also used in SES 4UI.

Physics Girl The name says it all...a very smart young woman who excels at communicating

Heavens Above is an outstanding online resource for watching the sky...whether you want to find a planet, a satellite, the ISS or Hubble, this website is the best I've found for general sky-watching.

Smarter Every Day video quality is excellent...great science

PhET is a web-based set of physics simulators developed by the University of Colorado. An excellent addition to your study resources.

Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics Explore this YouTube channel to find Alicia and Bob in Wonderland and more. Or, go to Perimeter's website here.

Ted Ed The education themed series of talks that have become so famous.

Applied Science A channel for people who like to explore physics through building things

Minute Earth A more general channel briefly explaining a broad range of science topics

Khan Academy An outstanding resource to help if you need something (physics, math, chemistry, etc.) explained in another way, or if you miss a class and you're at home trying to work through the homework.

Hyperphysics A website to help understand quantum physics. A click-able concept map.

Numberphile A math channel that is so much fun...its a trip

Kurzgesagt A very interesting channel that gives short, animated, explanations of perspective-changing scientific concepts

Elon Musk A collection of videos primarily featuring the gutsy futurist on topics like: tesla motors, spaceX, colonizing Mars and the hyperloop

The Map of Physics is a great overview of what we know (as well as what we don't know) about the universe.

PBS Space Time Relativity, Black Holes, Dark Energy, etc.

A neat set of video lessons on the elements of the periodic table by Ted-Ed Periodic Table
