Welcome to our Good Shepherd School Music Program website

The Good Shepherd School Music Program gives students of every grade a quality music education that broadens their foundation through experiences in singing, playing, analyzing, creating and listening. 

The following core elements of music are taught in every grade: pitch (melody and harmony), rhythm (meter, tempo and articulation), dynamics and the qualities of timbre and texture. Along with these elements music notation and sight-reading music is incorporated.

• To foster and perpetuate music as an art form and an essential component of the elementary school curriculum
