The South Walton County Mosquito Control District is pursuing a local bill that creates a new independent special district with a dual purpose that will allow the community to be better served as ditches can be effectively used for mosquito control and stormwater activities and the environment benefitted as additional water quality improvements will be achieved for water being discharged into the Choctawhatchee Bay.  

I SUPPORT BEING ALLOWED THE RIGHT TO VOTE ON AUGUST 18, 2020 ON A PROPOSAL THAT WILL RESULT IN BETTER WATER QUALITY IN THE BAY AND A REDUCTION OF DRAINAGE ISSUES IN MY COMMUNITY.  I SUPPORT THE SOUTH WALTON COUNTY MOSQUITO CONTROL DISTRICT IN ITS PURSUIT OF THE PASSAGE OF A LOCAL BILL TO IMPROVE OUR COMMUNITY SO THAT WE, AS THE ELECTORS OF THE DISTRICT, CAN DECIDE OUR FUTURE.
