Become a stakeholder! GSI will lead the program using digital technologies to communicate and collaborate with stakeholders. Each stakeholder is responsible to participate in the system and lead their area of governance. Responsibilities will include maintaining the sensor in your area, using the data to inform local solutions, support local governing authorities, and organizing boots on the ground to build bioswales, living shorelines, native gardens etc. You will have the opportunity to be a representative to help northwest Florida become a priority focus of the state and federal DEP while influencing local government leaders.
We are also looking to work with organizations that encourage public-private partnerships for conservation work such as building bioswales, living shorelines, native butterfly gardens, wetlands plant conservation etc. Please call the Good Samaritan office at 850-622-8150 or email admin@goodsam.ai if you would like to participate in the Save the Bay project.Â
